Role Overview: As a Blockchain Intelligence Analyst at Podproza, you'll play a crucial role in advancing our blockchain projects and enhancing trust in cutting-edge payment systems. You will collaborate with a cross-functional and international team to build scalable systems for detecting, preventing, and mitigating cryptocurrency fraud and financial crime. This position is based in Prague, preferably, or remotely from anywhere in Europe What You'll Do: • Advanced Analysis with Blockchain Forensics Tools: Utilize leading blockchain forensics tools to analyze transaction patterns and blockchain data. Apply sophisticated analytical techniques to uncover insights that enhance transparency and trust in blockchain transactions. • Data Integration and Quality Assurance: Identify, evaluate, and integrate data from diverse sources to build comprehensive datasets. Ensure the highest quality of data by implementing rigorous validation and cleansing processes to maintain accuracy and reliability. • Fraud Investigation and Collusion Detection: Proactively work on tracing funds and analyzing blockchain transactions to detect and prevent fraudulent activities and potential collusion. Develop methodologies to identify anomalous behavior that may indicate fraud or other illegal activities. • Tailored Insights: Create customized insights and visualizations that enable clients to make informed, data-driven decisions. Employ data storytelling techniques to convey complex information in an understandable and actionable manner. • Industry Awareness: Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in blockchain technology and data science. Leverage this knowledge to continually refine analysis techniques and improve investigation processes. Your Qualifications: Required: • Excellent communication skills, capable of explaining complex concepts in clear, concise English (Czech language not required, but Prague-based candidates are preferred). • Strong analytical abilities with a proven track record of converting data into actionable insights. • Proficiency in Python for efficient data analysis. Preferred: • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Sciences, Mathematics, or IT. • Experience or strong interest in blockchain analysis and a deep understanding of the cryptocurrency ecosystem. • Familiarity with blockchain investigative tools and techniques. • Knowledge of Git for version control.
